 Where will I be in 5 years?



This is a common question asked nowadays. People are so absorbed in technologies, sports, studying that they forget to have their minds set about their future. Thinking about your future can help you set goals and help you be determined and motivated about achieving your goals. Well, take a minute and think wisely with an open mind on where you'll be in 5 years.

As a 7th grader, in 5 years (in 2026) I will be in 12th grade. I am sure that I will be trying hard to finish my course for my FSc exams as in those times I'll be having my exams. I'll be having a strict timetable for proper time management because those exams will be a kind of prologue of my life! My future career depends on those exams!

Apart from studies, my older siblings would've been married by then and I might be an auntie. We might've moved houses by then as my parents are thinking about moving houses. My parents would be starting their old age! Some of my cousins would be starting school and some would be graduating!

In 5 years, I would've made new friends by then because 5 years is a long time period. In this long time period, my personality might change! I might have a different mindset. OR my dressing sense may change! Plus I might get a cell phone which I don't have currently but I am sure it is for the betterment of me. By then I might also be allowed to go outside without the supervision of my parents!

Well, all of this can only happen if I live till then. Or maybe all of this might not happen because I'm not someone who knows about the future. These are just a few possibilities! I'm just making some assumptions out of the possibilities. Except for all this, I just want myself to be close to Allah Almighty in any situation, I just want my 5 years older self to be a really pious person!

Well by thinking about my future, I've set up a few goals for myself! Those are:
*try my best to be closer to Allah Almighty
*gain my parent's trust so I can have a cell phone by then.
*work hard so I can get higher and better grades.
*make new friends

We, humans, make our own future plans but in the end, Allah Almighty has his own plans for us. Just believe in Allah Almighty and everything will go great!
